The WX and WXD series are small cross‑axis universal couplings designed for applications that require both angular flexibility and high torque transmission in a compact package. Manufactured from 42CrMo alloy steel, this double universal joint features a pin & block structure that allows a maximum working angle of 45° between shafts – significantly higher than typical single‑joint couplings. The double joint configuration consists of two universal joints connected by a center shaft, which not only accommodates larger angular misalignments but also delivers nearly constant angular velocity, reducing vibration and wear on connected equipment.

With a nominal torque range of 11.2 N·m to 1120 N·m, bore diameters from 10 mm to 42 mm, and overall lengths from 60 mm to 244 mm, the WX/WXD series is suitable for a wide variety of machinery: textile machines, food & beverage equipment, construction works, energy & mining, farms, restaurants, and retail automation. Standard finishing bore tolerance is H7, and the center hole can be supplied with keyway, square, hexagon, spline, or any custom profile per your drawing.
