Product Overview
The GR / GS Series Flexible Jaw Coupling (also known as DJ-A type star elastic coupling) is a high-performance, general-purpose flexible coupling designed for reliable power transmission, vibration damping, and misalignment compensation. It is an ideal Rotex series replacement and covers models from GE19 to GE75 with bore diameters from 42 mm to 200 mm.
The coupling consists of two steel hubs and an engineering plastic elastic spider (jaw/spider structure). This design provides excellent cushioning, vibration reduction, and wear resistance while maintaining a compact size and low inertia. The elastomer is limited by a convex claw block, which prevents internal deformation from impact and external deformation from centrifugal force. The large concave surface of the convex claw ensures very low surface pressure on the involute teeth, so even under overload the teeth will not wear or deform.
The GR / GS coupling is maintenance-free, operates in temperatures from -35°C to +80°C, and features axial plug-in installation for quick and easy assembly. The elastomer hardness in the table is 98 Shore A, which corresponds to the nominal torque.

Structural Features
Compact Size & Small Inertia – Ideal for space-limited and high-dynamic applications.
Engineering Plastic Elastic Element – Provides cushioning, vibration reduction, and wear resistance. Working temperature: -35°C to +80°C. Maintenance-free.
Convex Claw Block Design – The elastomer is limited by convex claw blocks, avoiding internal deformation from impact and external deformation from centrifugal force. The large concave surface of the convex claw makes the surface pressure on the involute tooth very small. Even if the tooth bears overload, the tooth will not wear or deform.
