The Apexcoupling XL Series Star Flexible Spider Coupling is engineered for demanding industrial power transmission, heavy-duty air compressors, electric motors, servo systems, and high-load mechanical drives. Constructed from precision-machined 45# high-grade round steel with a protective black oxide finish, this flexible jaw coupling delivers exceptional torsional strength, high torque capacity, and backlash-free power transmission.

Equipped with a wear-resistant polyurethane star elastomer spider (Wanhua polyurethane or
Hytrel optional), the XL coupling operates in working temperatures ranging from -35° C to 80° C. The precision-machined hub features H7 bore tolerances and JS9 keyway tolerances with set screw clamping (custom clamping, splined, or taper lock bore options available). The
elastomeric spider dampens torsional vibration, absorbs dynamic shock loads, and compensates for axial misalignment up to 6 mm, protecting motor shafts and air compressor air ends from premature fatigue.
