The Apexcoupling WSP series is a high-precision telescopic universal joint coupling engineered for applications requiring both angular misalignment compensation and axial length adjustment. Featuring a telescopic spline shaft design that allows the overall length to be easily adjusted, this coupling solves both distance and angular offset problems between the drive end and the driven load. Manufactured from 40Cr alloy steel with optional 304/316 stainless steel, the WSP series delivers high strength, excellent wear resistance, and long service life. Available with sliding bearing (up to 1000 RPM) or needle roller bearing (up to 4000 RPM), this coupling offers flexibility for a wide range of industrial applications. 💡 How it works: The WSP telescopic universal joint consists of two yokes connected by a cross shaft, with a telescopic spline shaft between them that allows axial length adjustment. The telescopic design makes repositioning simpler and faster than double universal joints. In cases of axial misalignment, the length can be easily adjusted without disassembling the shaft assembly, significantly reducing maintenance downtime and improving operational efficiency. The center slider and pins are hardened for wear resistance, ensuring smooth, jam-free rotation with low noise. The angle between the two shafts is allowed to change within a limited range (up to 45° per joint) according to working needs.
