The Apexcoupling CPWR/CPDR & GR/HR Precision Quick-Locking Universal Joint is an engineered cardan coupling designed for fast mounting, easy maintenance, and high rotational precision. Featuring a detachable fast-locking mechanism, these universal joints allow rapid connection and tool-free detachment on drive shafts connected to stepper motors and standard electric motors.

Forged from high-grade 42CrMo steel with a quenching process (and 20Cr cross components), the series is available in both plain bearing designs (GR/CPWR) and high-speed HR needle roller bearing configurations capable of speeds up to 4000 RPM. Operating across deflection angles up to 30° per section (and up to 45° maximum working angle depending on configuration), this range accommodates finished bore diameters from 8 mm to 30 mm (H7 tolerance) with DIN 6885/1 keyway or hexagonal shaft connections.
