The Apexcoupling WX/WXD series is a precision small cross universal joint coupling manufactured to the JB/T5901-1991 standard. Available in single joint (WXD) and double joint (WX) configurations, it is designed for reliable power transmission between two shafts on the same plane with an angular misalignment of up to 45° per joint. Constructed from 40Cr alloy steel with optional 304/316 stainless steel, the series delivers high strength, excellent wear resistance, and long service life. Featuring H7 precision bore with keyway, hexagon, or square hole options, the WX/WXD series is the ideal solution for packaging machinery, woodworking equipment, multi-spindle drills, metallurgical machinery, and general automation applications.

Rule of thumb:
Use WXD (single joint) for applications with constant angular misalignment.
Use WX (double joint) for applications requiring parallel offset compensation or smoother motion at higher angles.
💡 The angle between the two shafts is allowed to change within a limited range according to working needs.
