💡 How it works: The CSF-A18 locking assembly uses a double cone + mechanical wedge type tightening method. When the 12.9 grade screws are tightened, the tapered rings are forced together, creating high radial pressure between the inner ring and the shaft, and between the outer ring and the hub bore. This friction-lock connection transmits torque and axial forces without any keyways, backlash, or relative motion. The assembly is not self-centering and requires pre-centering during installation.
