Product Structure

The Z22 keyless power lock assembly consists of four main components:

  1. Split Inner Ring – Tapered on both ends, fits over the shaft.

  2. Upper Outer Ring – Tapered, fits into the hub bore.

  3. Lower Outer Ring – Tapered, works with the upper outer ring.

  4. 12.9 Grade High-Strength Screws – When tightened, they draw the components together, creating radial clamping pressure.

💡 How it works: When the 12.9 grade screws are tightened, the tapered rings are forced together, creating high radial pressure between the inner ring and the shaft, and between the outer rings and the hub bore. This friction-lock connection transmits torque and axial forces without any keyways, backlash, or relative motion.
