Product Overview

The Customizable Rotex Replacement Steel Jaw Coupling from Apexcoupling is a high-performance, flexible shaft coupling designed as a direct replacement for Rotex style couplings. Manufactured in Guangdong, China, this coupling features a curved jaw (spider) design and is made from 20CrMo alloy steel for excellent strength, wear resistance, and durability. It is available in standard and custom configurations to suit a wide range of industrial applications.

The coupling consists of two steel hubs and a flexible elastomeric spider (jaw/spider structure). The curved jaw profile ensures uniform load distribution, low surface pressure on the teeth, and resistance to wear and deformation even under overload. The keyway and setscrew mounting provides secure shaft connection and reliable torque transmission.

For heavy-duty applications requiring larger shaft diameters, we also offer the DJ-B type star elastic coupling with enlarged shaft hole. This variant uses steel shaft sleeves and is especially suitable for elevators, construction machinery, and other heavy-load transmission units. It is similar to the DJ-A type but accommodates larger bore diameters, with a compact design and small moment of inertia. The elastomer hardness is 98 Shore A, corresponding to the nominal torque.
