The AL-S Z2 Keyless Locking Device (also known as TLK200 series) is a precision shaft-hub connection solution that eliminates the need for keyways. Using a double-tapered design, it provides high radial clamping force and transmits significant torque without backlash. This locking assembly is ideal for applications requiring reliable, maintenance-free shaft connections.

The AL-S Z2 locking assembly consists of:
One split double-taper inner ring
One split double-taper outer ring
Two double-taper clamping rings
When the socket head cap screws are tightened, the tapers generate radial clamping force without axial movement of the assembly. Compared to Type A1 (single-taper), this design achieves higher radial pressure and transmits greater torque with the same tightening force.
